The role
This role is all about supporting meaningful engagement and communication with Aboriginal communities, ensuring that culturally appropriate services and programs are developed and promoted. You'll be working on a range of projects, assisting with planning, coordination, and administration, while also providing cultural advice to ensure Aboriginal perspectives are embedded in strategic initiatives. Balancing multiple priorities, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, and helping to plan events and sponsorships are key aspects of the job.

What you will bring to the role
- Strong communication skills, with experience developing culturally appropriate content.
- Ability to provide cultural guidance and support on Aboriginal community issues.
- Project and administrative experience, including reporting, records management, and event coordination.
- Collaborative and adaptable, able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, with an understanding of their communities and perspectives.
- Knowledge or experience in multimedia development is a plus.
