ACC is a non-denominational College that specialises in quality, Christ Centered Education from Kindergarten through to Year 12.
The College is currently seeking applications for a qualified Secondary Teacher to join a dynamic team on a full time, permanent basis for an immediate start.
As a Teacher you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective learning and teaching programs for every student in allocated classes and groups.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and are able to communicate sensitively and confidentially with parents, students and other staff.
- Able to build and maintain quality relationships.
- Highly organised and take pride in the planning and preparation of your classes.
- Embrace opportunities to reflect on your professional practice and further develop your own skills and knowledge across a variety of different areas
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate a Biblical Christian worldview into curriculum.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced secondary teacher with demonstrated knowledge and experience teaching Junior Math and Digital Technologies.
- Experience in Robotics, Python and Website Development is highly desirable.
- Have or able to obtain Queensland College of Teachers registration
- Be a committed Christian, active in your local church and in full agreement with the College’s evangelical Statement of Faith.
- Be a strong team member keen to work with the wider college staff in understanding education from a distinctly Christian worldview.
