We are currently seeking applications for a Senior Integration Architect to join the Office of the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Treasury and Finance ongoing.
Remuneration: ASO8 – Salary Range ($121,117 - $125,679 p.a.).
About the opportunity:
This role will be responsible for the technical design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of a Whole-of-Government Integration Platform (IPaaS), working within the framework of government objectives to ensure the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the integration platform. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Strategy and Architecture.
About you
To be successful you will:
- Liaise with management and staff including agency technical staff regarding the use of the IPaaS, from initial consultation and onboarding to the platform through to advanced use of integration patterns.
- Take lead on chairing the Integration Design Authority, the technical review board for the architecture and design of integrations and the governance forum for technical policies, standards and guidelines for the IPaaS.
- Coordinate and represent the IPaaS and integration perspective in the Whole-of-Government Architecture Review Group (ARG), the Cloud Governance Group (CGG) and the Integration Governance Group (IGG). These forums may require the preparation of technical architecture and design artefacts, reports, recommendations, business cases and policy documents as required.
- The Senior Integration Architect will work with peers in the Cybersecurity Directorate (CSD), Cloud Operations, Networking, Strategy and Architecture, Policy Development teams to ensure that the evolving security, performance, audit and compliance, and physical or cloud infrastructure requirements and changes are understood and impacts on stakeholders are communicated in a timely manner
- The Senior Integration Architect will contribute to relevant Working Groups and Communities of Practice in the South Australian State Government as well as with interstate and Federal Government counterparts.
