Our client is an Australian-owned and operated clinic and dispensary group dedicated to simplifying patient access to innovative, plant-based treatments including (but not limited to) medical cannabis that support chronic pain, mental health, and sleep-related conditions. With a strong focus on patient care, compliance, and wellbeing, they're seeking a passionate and dedicated Pharmacist to join their expanding team.
ABOUT
You will be a key part of my client's clinical operations and dispensary team. This is a full-time role, with 38hrs per week of work based in the clinic located around the Tugun - Tweed Area. You may be required to work on weekends on a rostered basis - possibly up to two weekends per month. You will provide high quality pharmaceutical care and advice while supporting patients on their plant-based medicine journey. You may be required to work weekends on a rostered basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment , enjoys working collaboratively, and is passionate about emerging therapies and holistic care models .
- Dispense prescribed plant-based and alternative medications in accordance with TGA, state, and federal regulations
- Provide expert consultation to patients on dosage, usage, interactions, and side effects
- Collaborate closely with clinic practitioners to ensure accurate and compliant prescription handling
- Conduct patient pre-screening to ensure they meet regulatory and clinic requirements for prescribed therapies
- Handle front-of-house responsibilities , creating a welcoming and professional environment for patients
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls , schedule appointments, answer queries, and follow up with patients as part of ongoing care
- Gather and address patient feedback and reviews , identifying opportunities for improving the patient experience
- Support inventory control , ordering, and receiving stock while maintaining accurate records
- Assist in the development and implementation of clinic policies, procedures, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to health promotion and education , helping patients make informed choices around their treatment
- Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA
- Previous experience in a high-volume, customer-focused healthcare environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisational ability
- Comfortable working Wednesday to Sunday on a full-time basis
- Interest in alternative and plant-based medicine is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, empathetic, and committed to patient-centred care
