About the Agency

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead agency for the Government's policy on sport and active recreation. ORSR is responsible for State Government policy and legislation as it relates to the sector, its key programs, sport and recreation infrastructure and funding programs. ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, councils and the community through the development of policy, programs and resources, the provision of funding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development, elite sport pathways and programs, and the promotion of physical activity.

About the Division - Infrastructure and Planning

The Infrastructure and Planning division provides a strategic and integrated approach towards the development and delivery of recreation and sport infrastructure and works to build diversity, strength, capacity and sustainability with industry clients and the community. The division is responsible for a number of the State's key sporting assets, including major sporting venues such as Adelaide Super-Drome and SA Athletics Stadium. It undertakes development planning, construction, project management, facilities management, and recreation trails development and management.

Role Details

The Project Coordinator, Operational Continuity has a strong focus on stakeholder management and plays a crucial role in supporting both internal stakeholders (e.g. Venue Operations) and external stakeholders (e.g. State Sporting Organisations) to ensure seamless service delivery during major project work. The role involves developing a deep understanding of user requirements, programming, and dependencies prior to works commencing and ensuring strategies and solutions are developed for business continuity and risk mitigation. The Project Coordinator, Operational Continuity collaborates across the organisation, and with a variety of external stakeholders, to ensure processes are in place to minimise the impact and any downtime during works.

Special Conditions

• The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
• The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
• Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
• This role requires a working with children check.

Salary Range

$98,478 - $104,165 p.a.
