About the Role:
The Capital Projects and Technical Services directorate is responsible for leading a range of specialist capital and technical service streams including the determination, development and implementation of a service delivery strategy across the division for the diverse range of infrastructure projects and initiatives delivered by the Capital Programs and Projects and Technical Services units.
The Senior Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of project administration functions, advice and activities, to support both the Capital Programs and Projects unit and the Technical Services unit in the timely and quality delivery of project outcomes.
The position involves a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and accuracy and is required to communicate appropriately with a diversity of clients and worksites and effectively manage administrative functions including coordinating agendas and minutes for high-level Technical Services and Capital Programs and Projects Governance, New Schools and Department for Education managed project meetings.
Desirable Qualifications:
- A tertiary qualification in project management, project administration or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
