We are currently seeking applications for a Supplier Engagement Lead to join Financial Services at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of up to 20 months.
Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range ($98,478 – $104,165p.a.).
About the opportunity:
We are seeking a supplier engagement lead, responsible for working directly with key stakeholders to implement more effective and automated transactional workflows and engaging client agencies to improve efficiency and quality of services provided. Automated transaction workflows and digital initiatives would include driving the adoption of electronic invoicing by SA Government suppliers. About you
To be successful you will have:
- Proven written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders and advise management on complex matters.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and client agencies.
- Knowledge of contemporary ICT and procurement practices, policies, procedures, systems, and government legislation.
- Experience in business requirements definition and an understanding of transactional workflows in a financial services environment.
- Subject matter expertise in accounts payable and/or procurement.
- Ability to identify strategic and operational issues related to business process automation, think laterally, and apply analytical, qualitative and research skills to develop appropriate strategies for resolution.
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks for self to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Possess and promote a commitment to service excellence and the continuous improvement of service standards.
- Ability to adapt and maintain effectiveness through major change in work tasks or the work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of the relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including Code of Ethics, EEO and cultural inclusion.
- An understanding of the legislative requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.
- An understanding of and ability to work/ manage to the spirit and principles of AS ISO 31000:2018 Risk management – Guidelines.
