About the role
The WA Capacity Market Investment (CMI) team is growing to support the energy transition as it gathers pace.

  • Propose and implement process improvements that minimise compliance risks, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen organisational capabilities.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into the technical, operational, and commercial aspects of power system operations in the WEM, including risk assessments and recommendations to the management team.

  • What you will bring to the role
  • Tertiary qualifications in an analytical discipline or similar (Commercial, Legal, Policy, etc).
  • Experience in the energy or related industry.
  • Ability to adapt and problem solve in a changing energy landscape will be key to succeed in this role.

  • Highly skilled presenter, negotiator, communicator, and networker, with a proven track record of influencing key stakeholders and driving successful agenda setting in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading complex technical and/or operational activities/projects, effectively collaborating within large teams and across organisations.
