As a Site Supervisor you will be responsible for running the site and managing staff. In this role you will be required to:
Supervise a team of Grain Handlers to ensure that the site runs smoothly and efficientlyAssist the Site Manager and Area Manager in planning, resourcing receivables and out-loading of grain during both normal and peak season periodsManage the grain receivals and outload in safe and efficient manner.Follow and will help to ensure others follow all OHS systems and proceduresDevelop and maintain business relationships, specifically with growers and customers; and maintain awareness of local priorities and issues.Develop & maintain effective Grower group/sManaging site budgetDealing closely with internal and external customers
About your experienceThis role requires someone who is hands on. The successful candidate will have prior experience in general labouring work in either agriculture, logistics, trades or construction. They will also have experience managing a team.
Candidates will also display:
Good communication skillsSafety-conscious behaviourA loader ticket or an HR Truck licence will be beneficialComputer literacyThe capacity to work at heights and in confined spaces is essential
