Customer Services Branch sits within the Customer Services, Safety and Regulation (CSSR) Division. Customer Services is a committed customer focussed branch providing trusted and secure services, while supporting safe road use. The Branch prioritises road safety for the community, dependable and high-quality services for residents of Queensland and an inclusive, safety-oriented work environment dedicated to continuous improvement and employee empowerment.
The Branch has 5 units comprised of:
• Business Enablers.
• Operations Metropolitan.
• Operations Regional.
• Technology.
• Experience and Design.
The role of the Director (Registration and Permits) is to provide leadership in delivery of the strategic roadmap and policy for Registration and Permits products and services to customers.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
• Leads the development of the strategic roadmap for Registration and Permits products, ensuring the alignment with Customer Services Branch strategy.
• Explores customer pain points and prioritises business value into new product developments and improvements related to Registration and Permits products.
• Leads and manages the Registration and Permits product improvement design, development, delivery and implementation to the frontline service delivery.
• Leads Registration and Permits product policy engagement within the department and wider government to advocate policy changes.
• Ensures Registration and Permits products meet accessibility and inclusion requirements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships as a senior leader, including collaboration with the Director (Design) and relevant members of the Operations and Technology teams, industry, and the community to deliver fit for purpose product outcomes.
• Participate as an integral member of the Senior Management Team, providing advice and leadership of Registration and Permits for the branch.
