The Opportunity
We are looking for a Graduate/Junior Environmental Consultant, with a love of the outdoors and with some remote work experience, who would like to join us to work with our clients on a range of environmental monitoring projects including remote water and soil sampling.
Key responsibilities of the role include the following:
- Water monitoring on remote mining and industrial sites
- Working with clients to maintain legal compliance
- Working with GIS software
- Working safely and following procedures
- Working unsupervised and remotely
- Four-wheel driving
- Problem solving and hands on work
You will bring the following
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and strong problem-solving ability
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible with working arrangements (site travel according to client requirements is required, including FIFO)
- Be willing to be trained up in various types of environmental monitoring
- Basic computer skills
- A ‘C’ class driver’s license
