About the Role

The Fundraising Support Officer will play a vital role in supporting the Fundraising and Philanthropy team. This role focuses on donor engagement, data management, and stewardship support. Key responsibilities include accurate data entry, assisting with donor thank you calls and stewardship activities, integrating donor data from multiple sources, and supporting fundraising goals and activities. The role requires strong communication skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

This role is offered on a Fixed-Term, Full-Time basis with an initial length of 2-4 months with a possibility of extension at our Head Office is Burswood.

If you would be keen to join us, we are now seeking a passionate and committed professional to join our team who can:

  • Perform accurate data entry and assist with the management and maintenance of donor records in CRM systems
  • Support the integration of data from various sources into a consolidated donor database
  • Conduct thank you calls and engagement activities with donors
  • Assist with donor stewardship activities, including drafting acknowledgements and ensuring donor recognition processes are followed
  • Conduct prospect research to identify and support potential donor opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the fundraising team to support donor journeys and fundraising campaigns
  • Provide administrative support for fundraising events and activities
  • Assist with reporting and analysis related to fundraising goals
  • Undertake other tasks as directed by the Director Fundraising and Philanthropy

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, including the ability to manage time, set priorities, and work independently
  • Strong motivation and a proactive attitude
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding of database systems and data integrity
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable:

  • Experience in a fundraising or not-for-profit environment

Parkerville Children and Youth Care are uniquely positioned to provide the successful applicant with the following benefits.

  • SCHADS Schedule B Paypoint and Level – Level 2.1 – 2.4 - $33.41 - $36.46 per hour
