Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in managing and leading staff involved in critical forest and fire operations? Join our elite team as a Field Operations Supervisor!

Get ready for an exciting position where you'll oversee the implementation of plans and programs whilst ensuring safe work practices and effective deployment of workcentre staff.

We are seeking proactive and well-organised individuals to join our team as Field Operations Supervisors.

As a Field Operations Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the leadership and day-to-day management of staff engaged in forest and fire operations activities. Your expertise in operational forest management, emergency response and staff management will be instrumental in delivering a wide range of operational tasks and fire prevention activities.

Applicants must hold a current manual Drivers Licence (conditions A, I & V not acceptable for employment)

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Experience in managing works programs in one or more of the following: planned burning, unsealed road management or other operational forest management activities including experience in management of staff.
  • Experience and understanding of forest firefighting techniques, the Australian Interagency Incident Management System and other emergency response activities.

This position is ongoing, available in the regional location of Foster in the Latrobe District, Victoria.
