What You’ll Do:
- Build reports that fuel data-driven decisions and provide actionable insights.
- Manage reconciliations and payroll with precision, ensuring everything’s in balance and on track.
- Lead quarter-end and year-end close processes, collaborating to hit deadlines and deliver accuracy.
- Handle tax filings like a pro, keeping things transparent and stress-free.
- Turn complex financial data into clear, digestible stories that everyone can understand.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting, keeping an eye on the numbers while considering the bigger picture.
- Stay ahead of the curve on financial regulations, ensuring we’re compliant and agile in a fast-changing world.
What You Bring:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or similar – but most importantly, you bring the people skills we need.
- Proven experience in a financial role, but more importantly, experience in working with people, building relationships, and understanding the bigger picture.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and tax laws – but an even stronger ability to communicate those principles in a way that makes sense to everyone, no matter their background.
- Proficiency with accounting software (Xero and MYOB).
- A passion for working with others, solving problems, and contributing to a team-focused environment.
- A knack for explaining complex ideas clearly and with empathy.
- CA, CPA or similar certification? Is great, but not mandatory if you’ve got the right mindset.
