Northrop Grumman's MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) provides real-time intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) over vast ocean and coastal regions. The aircraft can fly for more than 24 hours at a time, at an altitude above 55,000 feet and an operational range of 8,200 nautical miles.
Your Role
As our System Safety Engineer, you will support and maintain the safety Program and associated plans, policy, processes and procedures to ensure continued compliance with DASA requirements.
You will also be responsible for:

Assistance in the management of new hazards realised in operation, maintenance, or arising from changes in the configuration, role and environment.

Liaise with management and regulatory bodies, maintenance, engineering and customer agencies ensuring all design activities are carried out within the system safety framework.

Prepare and deliver Hazard Analysis Documentation e.g. Hazard Assessment Reports and Safety Assessment Reports.

Making recommendations for endorsement of treatments which may be implemented to reduce the risk caused by hazards
About You
As an experienced Systems Safety Engineer, you will have:

A Bachelor of Engineering within Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar

Knowledge of aircraft certification standards, MIL-STD-882, ARP4761 or other System Safety
standards

Working knowledge of System Safety tools and techniques including Fault Tree Analyses and
Event Tree Analysis

Strong Communication and interpersonal skills
