MAXAM Australia specialises in the supply of explosives and associated services to the mining, quarrying and civil construction industries. We have a full time opportunity for a Plant Operator within our manufacturing plant based in Bajool, 30km south of Rockhampton.
About the Role
The role of plant operator involves the handling of dangerous goods to manufacture various MAXAM products. As our successful candidate, you will have a proven track record in meeting production targets whilst applying safety & quality procedures under MAXAM's u-Safe system. In return, MAXAM will offer monthly bonuses for meeting production and safety targets.
About You
- Must hold Forklift High Risk Work (HRW) License with experience operating forklifts and working within a manufacturing environment
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Physically fit
- Able to work Monday to Friday from 06:00am - 02:00pm with occasional extra working hours including occasional Saturdays.
All employees will be required to undergo a national criminal history check and pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
