  • Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
  • $71,703 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site) + Superannuation
  • Location – Rockhampton

Your new role

Fitzroy River Water are seeking multiple experienced Plant Operator/Labourer to assist with construction and maintenance activities associated with the delivery of water and sewerage services.

Work with our team on a variety of major projects including water pipeline upgrades and implementation, Treatment Plant upgrades and various other projects.

Duties will include truck driving and the operation of plant (Excavator, Backhoe and Skid Steer) with labouring tasks associated with civil construction required i.e., pipe laying and concreting.

This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What we are looking for

  • Strong labouring background with mandatory licences/tickets.
  • Team player who enjoys working outdoors and physical work.
  • Willingness to work and learn the full range of roles and responsibilities within the team.
  • Safety focussed and the ability to identify hazards and risks on the worksite.
  • Experience in the completion of general and site maintenance activities related towater and sewerage infrastructure is desirable.
