About the role
Due to rapid and continued growth, in this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, from routine maintenance to complex repairs, ensuring that our vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for the road. You will be a key player in our team, working closely with operations and support staff to maintain the high standards that we are known for. we are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic based in our state-of-the-art Lytton Transport facility.
- Conduct repair, maintenance, and servicing to meet or exceed legislative standards, continually improving approaches to work and how we do things.
- Conduct detailed inspections and preventative maintenance
- Consistently strive towards a zero-harm worksite and approach to work.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure we meet tight timeframes of work.
- Electronic data entry for all vehicle service, maintenance, and repair records to NHVAS compliance standards.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will need the following attributes:
- Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade certificate.
- Experience working on heavy vehicles including Kenworth, Volvo prime movers and rigids, and fuel tankers
- Previous experience working with fuel trailers will be advantageous.
- Valid driver's license (HR and MC license preferred).
