About the role.

• Reports to the Category Manager
• Provide administration support for your ingredients category
• Collaborate with product managers, category leads, suppliers, procurement, sales, planning, customer service, shipping and technical teams at Langdon
• Daily review of new sales orders and escalate to the product manager any supply gaps, incorrect pricing, unplanned sales
• Regular review of demand, raising purchase orders and vendor liaison
• Monitor shipping schedule and escalation of any delays or issues
• Ensuring accuracy of stock available dates
• Ensure product invoices match pricing, terms and purchase order
• Engage with suppliers and other stakeholders to gather documentation
• Monitor inventory levels, stock allocations, identifying expiring stock
• Support in contract negotiations and drafting of agreements
• Ensure supplier contact details are maintained.

About you.

• Ideally with experience in inventory, customer service or purchasing
• Food industry experience or food science degree ideal but not essential
• Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, D365 experience beneficial
• Strong customer service orientation
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills
• Confident to prioritise tasks
• A strong drive to succeed
• Ability to work well with and contribute to a high performing team
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
