We are seeking a passionate, customer focused person to join our team at Northside Village [RI1] in the key position of Village Administrator on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis (3-4 days per week).

About the role

The Village Admin supports the manager to develop strong relationships with village residents and supports the village operations team to ensure a positive lifestyle for our residents.

Activities will include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule and organise resident activities and staff service rosters and coordinate communication
  • Establish and maintain positive and supportive relationships with all residents, village employees and contract service providers
  • Utilise company CRM and systems to maintain accurate resident records, billings processing, collection of resident funds and banking and any village accounting matters as required
  • Provide support, guidance, and accurate information for residents
  • Work closely with the HomeServe and Head Office teams
  • Support the Sales Manager with administrative tasks such as reviewing and contacting sales enquiries to arrange inspections, maintaining relevant documentation, and liasing with prospective residents and external stakeholders as required
  • Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance at all times with legislative framework including the Retirement Villages Act, Work Cover, and health and safety

About you

To provide the best possible experience to our village residents, we’re seeking candidates who have strong administration skills, and who are friendly with a pleasant and positive attitude, and confident in dealing with a range of people in a professional manner.

Successful candidates will also have:

  • Relevant qualifications in administration (desired)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in admin or in residential care management
  • Previous experience in sales administration will be highly regarded, but is not essential
  • Strong computer skills, including advanced MS Office and CRM systems skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and operate within deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail, and a commitment to a high standard of work and performance
  • Experience in the delivery of events, or hospitality experience
  • Outstanding communication skills with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent people skills and empathy for older people living in residential care and retirement village setting
