Position Title: Team Leader

Location: Little Lamb Burpengary, Queensland

Reports To: Restaurant Manager

Overview: As a Team Leader at Little Lamb Burpengary, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service. You will work closely with the management team to create a positive and efficient environment for both staff and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff

  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, managing complaints, and ensuring satisfaction.

  • Monitor and manage the restaurant's cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

  • Assist with the training and development of new staff, ensuring they understand and uphold restaurant procedures and standards.

  • Help manage inventory and ensuring the restaurant is stocked with necessary items.

  • Work with the management team to ensure effective communication, operational procedures, and team motivation.

  • Handle cash, process payments, and assist with financial record-keeping as needed.

  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry. (preferred but not manditory)

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Looking to start ASAP

Working Hours: Flexible, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
