About the Role:
As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards of customer service, and leading a team to success. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and functions
- Lead, train, and support staff to maintain excellent service standards
- Ensure compliance with liquor and gaming regulations ( RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager Licence required )
- Monitor stock control and ordering to maintain efficiency
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution professionally
- Maintain a high level of presentation and venue cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with management to drive business success
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Proven experience in a similar hospitality management role
✔ Strong knowledge of gaming, bar operations, and stock control
✔ Excellent leadership and team management skills
✔ Ability to work autonomously and within a team
✔ A commitment to delivering top-tier customer experiences
✔ Flexibility to work across weekdays, nights, weekends, and public holidays (42.5-hour workweek)
✔ A positive and motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
