About the Team
The Office of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at ASD shapes ASD's approach to Signals Intelligence and Cyber Security Capability. We position ASD to take advantage of the opportunities that innovative technologies present, while working to treat threats and mitigate technical/strategic surprise.
The team builds technical resilience and nurtures research/adoption of cutting edge capabilities and tradecraft by engaging with field leaders from our international partners, industry and academia, and experimentation with - and demonstration of - innovative technologies. Quantum technologies are an example of technologies we are focused on.
About the Role

These roles will cover various quantum technologies including quantum sensing, quantum computing and quantum communications. However, given the dynamic nature of innovative technologies and their crossover with classical systems, successful applicants can expect engagement with other key technical areas of ASD including Cyber Security, Cryptology and Vulnerability Research.
