The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Human Resources & HSE Manager to join our team. This role is integral to supporting our growing workforce and ensuring our operations remain compliant, safe, and people-focused. You’ll work closely with leadership to drive HR initiatives, maintain compliance, and promote a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee recruitment processes, on boarding, inductions, and staff training
· Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation
· Provide advice on workplace policies, employee relations, and performance management
· Handle workplace grievances, investigations, and conflict resolution
· Support initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention
· Assist the Health & Safety Officer with compliance, audits, and OH&S reporting
· Conduct research and support the implementation of health and safety best practices
· Provide day-to-day administrative support to the General Manager
· Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
· Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in HR and HSE processes
· Stay informed on HR and safety trends and legislative updates
What We’re Looking For
· Tertiary qualification in Human Resources and HSE, Business Administration, or related field
· Solid understanding of Australian employment laws and HR best practices
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
· Strong organisation and time management skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Current driver's license and full Australian work rights
