We are a Uniting Church school catering for approximately 1000 day and boarding students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. Our campus is located in the leafy suburb of Peppermint Grove, situated between the ocean and the river.

PLC seeks to appoint caring, dedicated and experienced individuals to join our Boarding House as an Assistant. Duties are varied and include assisting with the organisation and operation of PLC’s boarding house facilities; assisting students with school studies; supervising boarders when attending activities and outings; and providing pastoral care and guidance.
Candidates must have the ability to provide exceptional pastoral care, excellent organisational and communication skills and show genuine interest and compassion to our Boarders.
PLC will provide accommodation when the role requires a sleepover, and meals when the staff member’s roster coincides with a meal. Please note, the weekly working hours will usually be the hours as listed above, but this may be subject to change according to the Boarding House roster.
Applicants for Boarding House roles must have a current WA Drivers’ License, a Working With Children Check, Provide First Aid Certificate and a National Police Certificate. In addition, the successful candidate will hold or be willing to obtain a Bronze Medallion. Holding a HR Manual bus drivers licence would be highly desirable.
