About the Position

This position works across all operational areas of the City supporting contract management activities and ensuring compliance with the City's procurement policies and governance requirements. The main responsibilities include managing the City's central contract register, ensuring records are current and compliant; preparing requests (tenders, quotations and expressions of interest) and actively contributing to the development and review of contract management and procurement policies and procedures.

This is a permanent full-time position.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a good understanding of the regulatory framework for procurement within a local or state government context. Taking a flexible and adaptable approach you will be able to respond to the needs of your internal clients and work collaboratively to achieve the best outcome for the City. With good time management skills, you will have the ability to work autonomously. Proficiency with the cloud-based e-procurement platform, Open Windows or similar as well as Vendorpanel or Tenderlink would also be highly regarded.
