About the Role
Providing high-level reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of our training services. Reporting to the RTO Administration Manager, you will provide reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth delivery of our training services. Your responsibilities will include handling enquiries, managing student records, assisting with compliance tasks, and supporting team members with various duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering, screening, and forwarding telephone enquiries.
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and students professionally.
- Process daily student attendance and follow up with relevant parties.
- Manage room bookings, meetings, and the reception area.
- Prepare and issue training resources, textbooks, and class materials.
- Process enrolments for Try a Trade courses and manage the laptop hire process.
- Scan, archive, and file student records and completed assessments.
- Assist with student feedback and record surveys in the VETtrak system.
- Process site visits.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies, including textbooks and stationery.
Support compliance by maintaining records and assisting with administrative tasks.
Essential Criteria
- High school qualification (WACE or equivalent).
- Proficiency in administrative and clerical procedures.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of relevant software applications.
- Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative mindset.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience providing administrative support within an RTO.
- Knowledge and experience using VETtrak or similar student management systems.
- Familiarity with the VET sector and training packages.
