We are looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join on a Full-time basis, maintaining our fleet of BAE 146 & DHC-8- Q400 aircraft. Working alongside the Supervising LAME, the AME will be responsible for the performance of aircraft maintenance and for the completion of assigned maintenance tasks.

• Record and report any defects identified during maintenance to the Certifying Employee and document them in the applicable Maintenance Record.

• Ensure all aircraft maintenance and associated documentation are completed in accordance with the MOE, Procedures Manuals, and the relevant CAMO requirements.

• Maintain personal tool control and ensure accountabilities for all tools and equipment used in maintenance.

• Uphold the general condition, upkeep, and housekeeping of hangars, workshops, work areas, and vehicles, ensuring all issued AP, Standard Parts, or Materials are stored in compliance with the MOE.

• Provide guidance and support to Apprentices when required.

• Adhere strictly to Engineering WHSMS policies and procedures.

• Support and promote SMS, QMS, and a Just Culture.

• Perform any other duties as directed by the LAME, Leading Hand, Senior Base Engineer, or Maintenance Manager.

To be considered for this position with NJE , you must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Unrestricted Work Rights within Australia.

• Ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card).

• Ability to obtain an Airside Driving Licence.

• Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent qualification.

• Ability to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical assessment and Drug & Alcohol screening.

• Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC)

Additionally, the following are preferred but not essential:

• Aircraft towing experience.
