About the Role
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team on a part time basis for 25 - 30 hours per week. The Accounts Receivable Officer is a key position in our busy finance and administration team. Responsibilities include:
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure the accuracy of customer balances
- Follow up with customers on overdue payments via phone, email, or other communication channels.
- Process incoming payments through various methods.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues in customer accounts (e.g. payment discrepancies, credit applications).
- Act as the point of contact for customer enquiries related to their accounts, invoices, and payments.
- Responding to requests for information and access to relevant files
- Provision of accounts and administrative support to other members of the finance team
- Provision of relief/back-fill support for other administrative roles as required

You will bring:
- Your previous experience in administration and/or accounts
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Sound capability using Microsoft Office programs
- An ability to work well within a team and autonomously
- A flexible, can-do approach, with the ability to pivot and multitask when required
