About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team in Noarlunga, South Australia . This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to the continued success of our hospitality business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain full operational knowledge of all recipes, portion sizes, standards, and presentation styles used within the kitchen

  • Assist in menu development, with consideration of food and labour cost control

  • Collaborate with management to set and monitor daily and weekly production levels

  • Manage stock levels effectively, understanding the impact on food costs

  • Uphold strict compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards

  • Ensure all ingredients used are fresh and of high quality

  • Prepare meals to the highest standard, maintaining consistency and excellence

  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior kitchen staff as required

  • Handle food-related customer complaints professionally and efficiently

  • Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery

  • Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to kitchen operations

Skills and Experience

  • Formal culinary qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume or quality-focused kitchen

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety practices

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain high standards at all times

  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays

Salary and Benefits

  • Annual salary between $70,000 - $75,000 , commensurate with experience
