Due to growth across the business and our expanding ACT Region, we have a great opportunity for a New Graduate or Experienced Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist looking to grow their clinical knowledge into a new direction of helping people.
Full induction, training, and buddy system provided to set you up for success. Including weekly and monthly team meetings targeted at developing your exposure to different psychometrics.
In your new role you will manage a portfolio of clients with a physical injury, creating and monitoring rehabilitation plans and aim to gradually return your clients back to work.
You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients as well as influencing stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.
Looking after a client portfolio, your day will include:
- Manage a portfolio of clients with a physical injury
- Complete initial assessments to better understand the injury, recovery timeframes and return to work goals
- Visiting workplace to assess environment and duties within the role, identify with employer of any suitable duties while recovering
- Providing support through recommendations for community assistance or additional support through the insurer
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide complex stakeholder management to support the recovery of an injured worker
- Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clients to a safe return to work goal
- General Registration with AHPRA or ESSA
- Tertiary degree as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Exercise Physiologist
- Car and valid Driver’s license
- Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work in autonomously and as part of a team
