About the role
The Finance Officer is responsible to the General Manager of Finance, People & Culture for the preparation, processing, and data entry of activities related to the financial operations of Palmerston Association. This position is job-share. The role is available for an immediate start.
The Finance Officer will undertaking duties which will include but not be limited to the following:
Collate invoices and prepare for payment through Expense Manager system or manual entry to the finance system.

Ensure invoices meet the legal minimum invoice requirements including supplier name; ABN and invoice date.

Ensure invoice coding is correct including amount; GST; class code and GL account.

Ensure invoice approval is in line with Palmerston Association Delegation of Authority policy.

Prepare weekly supplier payment runs for review.

Create bank payments for suppliers.

Maintain and update supplier details, and reconcile supplier statements.

Company credit card reconciliation.
