ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you a passionate and results-driven Business Analyst looking for an opportunity to make a real impact?
As our Business Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of the organisation by analysing both financial and non-financial data, evaluating systems, and delivering strategic recommendations. You’ll work closely with a talented team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller and collaborating with key business partners across the Institute. Your insights will be vital in driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Selected Duties:

Lead the Way in Decision-Making: Utilise your expertise in business analysis and reporting to develop and maintain models that support key business decisions.

Create Impactful Tools: Design and implement dashboards and reporting tools that provide actionable insights for management.

Shape Strategic Growth: Analyse trends and patterns in both financial and operational data to guide strategic decision-making.

Drive Efficiency: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement technology solutions that optimise business processes.

Support Forecasting & Planning: Play a key role in the financial forecasting and planning processes, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualification in business, finance, information systems, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in business analysis and reporting.

Proficiency in financial and operational data analysis, forecasting, and modelling.

Familiarity with business intelligence tools and financial reporting systems.

Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
-
Desirable: Experience in the VET sector and/or government.

Desirable: Knowledge of TechnologyOne Finance Systems.
