Part Time - Permanent working 66 hours per fortnight
About the Position
This position works as part of a small team in the township of Willunga. The role requires the provision of customer service over an extended period of rostered time. The successful candidate will also have experience in delivering early childhood literacy sessions as well as a contemporary understanding of public libraries and their role in supporting the community.
About You
Working as part of a small team you will have a passion for early childhood literacy and customer service delivery. You will be a creative, positive, and energetic person with a friendly nature who finds it easy to develop a rapport with people of all ages especially children.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Experience in the delivery of frontline customer service
- Ability to help people that are not confident in the use of technology
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to the role that libraries play in in supporting all forms of literacy and lifelong learning with a focus on the delivery of interactive story telling sessions for young children.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to utilize initiative and flexibility when applying policies and procedures
- Effective time management skills that enable the meeting of deadlines
