About the Role
As the Senior HSE Advisor – Systems & Audits , you will play a national role in ensuring compliance, driving best practice, and enhancing HSE management systems across the business.
Working closely with national stakeholders, you will provide expert support across systems, reporting and audit programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing and executing the Group HSE Systems and Audit Strategy.
- Providing expert guidance on HSE systems, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Managing national audit schedules and supporting HSE audits across multiple business units.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on HSE performance, identifying key trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the online safety management system.
We’re seeking a HSE professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving compliance and safety performance.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum Certificate IV OHS/WHS).
- 5+ years of SHEQ auditing experience in a complex, high-risk environment.
- ICAM investigation training (advantageous).
- Lead Auditor qualifications in safety, environment, and/or quality management systems (advantageous).
- Strong experience in developing, implementing, and improving management systems in accordance with ISO standards.
- Proficiency in MyOHS, Intranet, and MS Office Suite.
- Highly developed organisational skills
