About Us
We have a rich history of contribution to clinical research in anaesthesia and pain medicine. Our research has garnered both national and international funding and has been published in highly regarded peer-reviewed journals of anaesthesia science. The Department takes pride in maintaining the highest standards in research governance and ethical behaviour. The trials include, international and national multi-centre trials, investigator-initiated trials, local trials and on occasion, commercial pharmaceutical trials.
Opportunity
This is a Fixed Term Part Time appointment at 60.80 hours (0.8 FTE) (4 days/week) - 12 month contract opportunity to work with the Anaesthesia Research Team at Royal Perth Hospital.
About You.
The Clinical Nurse (CN) – Research is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of research projects for RPBG in association with the respective clinical team. The CN conducts research (under supervision) which is ethically and scientifically sound and which influences clinical practice.
You will be an AHPRA Registered Nurse with working rights in Australia. In addition, you will have:
- At least 5 years of Clinical experience as an RN;
- Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and ethical considerations in the conduct of research.
- Ability to be flexible with working hours to meet the clinical workload.
