Intervention Teacher (Full Time)
As Intervention Teacher, you will work closely with the Student Growth and Engagement Leader and Learning Area Leader(s) to deliver high-quality educational outcomes in line with the College’s strategic goals. You will actively contribute to a dynamic professional learning team, supporting curriculum development, assessment practices, and intervention strategies that cater to the diverse learning needs of all students.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

A commitment to inclusive education, with demonstrated experience in intervention teaching and literacy support

Strong knowledge of evidence-based literacy programs and intervention strategies
-
Sound knowledge of the unique learning needs of young people
-
Experience and proven record in effective learning and teaching skills, including management of composite classes/ mixed ability classes

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

An understanding and willingness to work within the AITSL standards framework

Understanding of and commitment to child safety, pastoral care, and student wellbeing
