Genetics Australia is Australia's leading artificial breeding company supplying elite bovine genetics and breeding merchandise servicing the Australian beef and dairy industries. With bases in both Bacchus Marsh and Camperdown this business has been operating for more than 65 years in the artificial breeding and herd improvement sector.
We are seeking a relationship focussed Sales Representative to reside in and service the Western Victorian region.
The role
This role will be responsible for promoting and selling our extensive range of products and services via on-farm visits and distributor engagement, as well as promoting and supporting the organisation through attending industry related events.
Key Responsibilities:

Achieve agreed sales targets

Prospecting customers, generating, and influencing product orders

Participate across progeny inspection tours at a farm and industry level

Identify industry trends, opportunities, threats, and assist with identifying solutions
-
Take part in promotional activities and industry events
Key Candidate Requirements:

A demonstrated success in sales

Strong community and industry relationships

A passion for dairy & beef genetics
-
A positive pro-active attitude with the desire to achieve a high standard of success

Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Competent in the use of computers
-
Living in or prepared to relocate to the Gippsland dairy region

An ability to travel widely across your region (including a current driving licence) - Mandatory

Strong association with product sales

Maintain and develop good relationships with industry partners

Ability to work alongside Regional Sales Managers & Sales Reps in all regions

Understand the tools that are available with a company software herd analysis reporting.

Effective time management and organisational skills
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent presentation and communication skills with strong technical capabilities, as well as being an active team player committed to customer service.
Training will be provided, and personal development encouraged and supported. A current driver's licence is mandatory.
