About The PositionWe are seeking an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to manage our Acute Ward and Dialysis Unit. The NUM will also over-see the Dialysis Unit and manage both Acute ANUMs and the Dialysis ANUM.
The position is on a Permanent Part-time basis, at 5 days/40 hours per fortnight.
What You Bring
Managerial experience as a Nurse Unit Manager, or an experienced high-performing Associate Nurse Unit Manager ready move to into a Nurse Unit Manager role.Experience working in a Small Rural Health Service.Ability to work five days per fortnight on a job share basis.A collaborative and collegial approach to work to job share with the incumbent NUM.An understanding of the unique challenges in Rural and Regional health.Current and ongoing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.Commitment to the philosophy of a person-centred approach to providing care and services.Satisfactory pre-employment Worker Screening Checks, such as a Working with Children Check, and National Police Records Check.
