Detector Inspector started in 2005 when our two founders, Jason and Jordan, recognised an opportunity to make a difference - we could help make homes safer for renters and make safety compliance easier for property managers.
As part of our Electrical team, you will be conducting full safety inspections to ensure all electrical appliances and smoke detectors at our clients’ property are safe and compliant . The role 4 days per week, based in Mildura with travel to the surrounding region.
Your day-to-day:
Thepurpose of your role is to make homes safer by conducting switchboard inspections, power point testing, light testing, electrical appliance inspections and smoke alarm services. Further works may require repairs, installations, and upgrades to electrical appliances, installations, and fittings in residential properties. Your core duties include but are not limited to:

Switchboard repairs and upgrades

Re-wiring of appliances and installations

Repairs and replacements for lighting, transformers, power points, etc.

Replacement and/or installation of electrical appliances

Smoke alarm services

$91k pro rata + super with additional benefits available including uniform, van, mobile phone and tools

Work-life balance: work part time choosing any 4 days fromMonday to Friday working 7:30am-4pm.

Victorian Electrician A-Grade Licence & Safety Focus

Proven experience in domestic work - electrical rectification & smoke alarm
