About Us
Care Essentials is an Australian medical device manufacturer. We make warming machines/blankets, PPE including N95/P2 respirators, CSSD wraps and other medical consumables. Our products are made in Australia and exported to over 70 countries and the company enjoys a good reputation.
Due to rapid expansion, we are looking for a device assembly technician/engineer to join our Patient Warming Device assembly team. As a team member, you will be involved in various stages of the device assembly and testing process.
This will be a fulltime casual role with a view to becoming permanent. There is opportunity to grow into a Supervisor role for those with prior experience and good work attitude.
Responsibilities

Assembly and testing of medical devices

Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and inspections

Follow established protocols and verification processes during assembly and testing

Assist with verification and validation tasks to ensure compliance and product quality

Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electronic devices

Assist in various R&D projects related to medical devices

Assist with device packing
Skills and experience
-
Certificate from TAFE or equivalent in electronics or electrical, mechatronics or sufficient on the job experience doing similar work. A graduate engineer in electronics/electrical field who enjoys being hands on may also apply.

Familiarity with test and tagging procedure, test and tag certification and AS/NZS 3551 standards knowledge is an added advantage.

Prior experience in device assembly and repair is a plus

Proficiency in using electric and hand tools for assembly and repairs
