About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Medication Management Assistant to join our team at Tamworth Discount Drugstore in Tamworth, NSW. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient management of medications, supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care.

This role could suit both experienced or new workers. The key is attention to detail and ability to work independantly.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting pharmacists with the preparation and quality assurance of medication packs for over 800 community patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

  • Maintaining accurate records and inventory of pharmaceutical stock, including ordering and restocking as needed

  • Collaborating with the team to coordinate patient care and medication management, and work efficiently across the program

  • Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the safe and compliant handling of medications

  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of medication management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals

  • A team player with a genuine passion for improving patient outcomes through medication management
