When you start your apprenticeship or traineeship with CCGT, we’ll be your legal employer, and you’ll work with one of our host employers in your chosen industry.

You’ll gain hands-on experience and training while completing your qualification, with CCGT supporting you every step of the way.


About The Host Employer:

Our host employer has been creating custom signage solutions on the Central Coast since 2001 and is the only local shop specialising in in-house acrylic fabrication, 3D lettering, and lightboxes.

They offer more than just a job, they provide a pathway to a long-term career in signage fabrication. The team values detail-oriented, well-presented individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment.


What We're Looking For:

We’re searching for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic about hands-on craftsmanship
  • Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Comfortable working in a physically active environment and at heights
  • Able to demonstrate strong communication skills


What You Need:

  • White Card, police check & working with children check or willing to obtain
  • Forklift license & working-at-heights ticket is a bonus
  • Manual driver’s license essential

About The Role:

In this role, you’ll gain practical skills while studying for a Certificate III in Signs and Graphics. You’ll be PAID to learn on the job over the course of your apprenticeship being 3 years, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of signwriting. RTO will be TAFE NSW - Maitland Campus.


Working Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm being 40hrs with RDO's, potential for occasional overtime


Your duties will include:


NO graphic design or printing, the role is for a fabricator/installer
  • Perspex fabrication and cutting for customers
  • Vehicle signage removal and installation
  • Laying flat panel signage & window graphics
  • On and off-site installations
  • Lightbox fabrication and wiring
  • Delivering signage and assisting customers
  • On & off site installations
  • Answering phones & assisting with customer enquiries
