About the OpportunityWalhallow Aboriginal Corporation (WAC) is looking for two full-time Administration Officers based in Quirindi and Tamworth, NSW.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, these roles will be integral to the smooth operation of WAC’s healthcare services. The successful candidates will provide frontline administrative support, manage patient bookings, and ensure a welcoming and culturally sensitive environment.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Managing patient appointments, reception duties, and general inquiriesSupporting GPs, nurses, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners with administrative tasksMaintaining patient records and ensuring confidentialityUsing clinical information systems to process bookings and recordsAssisting with Medicare billing and claims processingProviding administrative support to the Practice Manager and clinic staffEnsuring compliance with healthcare policies and proceduresDelivering exceptional customer service to patients and stakeholders
About YouTo be considered for this role, you will need:A minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration, preferably in a medical or clinical settingCert III in Business Administration or a relevant qualificationStrong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with patient management systemsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentHigh-level attention to detail and confidentialityKnowledge of local community services and cultural sensitivity is highly valued
