The Role
We are seeking an experienced Retail Security Supervisor who can demonstrate excellent customer service skills and passion for the security industry, with a strong desire to make a difference.
You will be responsible for providing security team leadership at our retail site Erina Fair Shopping Centre, supporting the establishments' tenants, guests and visitors. Services include but are not limited to; building key tenant familiarisation and relationships, managing access, responding in a timely manner to client requests, ensuring the safety and security of the site, managing emergency situations and demonstrating proactive security awareness.
Key Responsibilities
To be considered for an opportunity with Assetlink Services, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, experience & appropriate certification within the following areas:
Working closely with other site and regional managers to achieve a high level of client satisfactionCoaching, mentoring supporting and performance management of security team members with the objective of building a high-performing teamLiaising with local Law Enforcement Authorities and other identified stakeholders in relation to security issues, as they impact the Centre and its surroundingsProduction of monthly reports and KPI scorecards in line with client and AssetlinkActing on any incidents/or injuries, near misses, equipment faults, complaints and information that is security-relatedEffectively manage labour costs such as rosters, leave and overtime to the agreed schedule as per the site’s P&L and company standardEstablishing systems, policies and procedures knowledge base designed to ensure consistently high service performance and seamless support is provided
Role Requirements
Prior experience in supervising/managing staffPrior experience in working around licenced venuesExperience in retail securityCurrent NSW Security LicenceCurrent Advanced First Aid Certificate (plus current CPR qualification)Excellent communication and customer service skillsExcellent, well-groomed and corporate-appropriate presentation Ability to work as a part of the Security Team and individuallyHigh-level problem-solving skillsAbility to work nights and weekendsReliability and access to own transport is essential
