Construction Project Manager - Fitout & Refurbishment
An established and highly regarded construction company is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee fitout and refurbishment projects across a range of sectors, including commercial, retail, hospitality, and education. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage commercial fitout and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring successful project delivery within the specified time frame and budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including estimators, site managers, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors, maintaining strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
• Manage project risk, identify potential issues early, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Monitor and report on project progress, including financial status, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Ensure all projects meet regulatory and safety standards, with a focus on quality and detail.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager , with a focus on fitout and refurbishment projects, (value between $1 million - $15 million).
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• A proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
