Due to sustained growth and expansion of the business into Byron Bay, this is an exciting opportunity for a driven Project Coordinator with experience in apartment or commercial construction to join a business that has won consistent recognition as a Great Place to Work. You'll gain broad project exposure on a landmark high-end apartment development right from the start.
The Role
As a Project Coordinator, you will be a key player throughout the lifecycle of the project. You will be responsible for assisting with the management of costs, contracts and procurement, as well as ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Supporting the Senior Contract Administrator and Site Manager in both office and site environments.
- Procurement and tender activities, including obtaining quotes, conducting tender evaluations, and preparing scopes and contracts.
- Enforcing safety protocols, placing material orders, coordinating equipment, and overseeing authority permits.
- Assisting with financials, including reporting and supplier/trade payments.
- Scheduling meetings, documenting minutes and ensuring items are tracked and completed.
About You
- Tertiary qualified in Construction Management (or equivalent).
- Ideally 2-3 years' experience in a similar role across apartment or commercial developments.
- A commitment to quality and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
