This role requires an electrician with a strong industrial skill base to maintain resort infrastructure. Candidates with experience working on the following equipment will be highly regarded:

Motors and pumps
-
Generators
-
Fault finding on control circuits, both analogue and digital.
Experience working with PLCs is not required but is also highly regarded. General mechanical competency and interest is also highly regarded for lift maintenance duties.
The primary objective of this position is to carry out electrical work and help ensure that the ski lift electrical maintenance functions are performed in accordance with all statutory obligations, manufacturer’s recommendations and company standards, and in a manner that minimises any potential downtime.
The effective performance of this position will ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all ski lifts, resort facilities and a risk-free environment for guests and employees through policy development and adherence to Company safety procedures and practices. The ability to perform all job duties, particularly working at significant heights, is required.
The Maintenance team also conducts all maintenance tasks at the resort’s base area facilities and on-mountain facilities utilising both in-house resources and outside contractors.
It is essential to possess previous experience of a high demand role, and useful to have prior knowledge of the industry, products and trends. This position is responsible for maintaining efficient services, safety standards and proactively managing associated documentation as well as the resort’s asset.
This position is a key member of the Charlotte Pass Snow Resort Team.
