About this role

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals? Do you have a caring and compassionate nature that shines through in everything you do? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Night Duty Personal Care Worker at our Lady small Haven Facility based in Benowa.
As a Personal Care Assistant on night shift, you will provide essential care and support to residents during overnight hours, ensuring their comfort and safety to promote our beloved resident's wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, including mobility, hygiene, and grooming.
  • Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in residents' health to nursing staff.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and residents' conditions.
  • Safety Assurance: Ensure a secure environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with nursing and support staff to deliver holistic care.

What you can bring to the team

We are looking for someone who is compassionate and understanding, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our aging population. You will be a valued member of the team, working closely with other Personal Care Workers and reporting to a very supportive Care Manager and Service Manager.


To be suitable for the position, ideally you have:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a direct care role. (Desirable)


Possess or willingness to obtain;

  • Assist clients with medication Certificate - HLTHPS006
  • Up-to-date First Aid and CPR Certification
  • A current National Police Certificate
  • Current Influenza Vaccination.
