Kinetic, Australia and New Zealand’s largest bus operator, is looking for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our team on the Gold Coast. If you’re passionate about developing and mentoring drivers while ensuring excellence in training, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a Driver Trainer, you will:
- Deliver high-quality training programs, including driver induction and on-road assessments.
- Identify skill gaps and provide tailored coaching to drivers.
- Ensure training materials align with industry regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate training records and report on outcomes.
- Support drivers needing additional coaching and refresher training.
- Keep up to date with industry rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including RTOs and operational teams.
- Travel across various Kinetic depots in the Gold Coast to support training needs.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (TAE40116) – essential.
- Certificate III in Driving Operations (TLI31216) – desirable or willingness to complete.
- Certificate IV in Transport & Logistics Road Transport – desirable or willingness to complete.
- Medium Rigid (MR) Driver's Licence – essential.
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence – desirable or willingness to obtain.
- Driver Authority – desirable or willingness to obtain.
- Previous experience as a Driver Trainer with the ability to train and mentor a diverse workforce.
- Strong knowledge of licensing regulations and bus transport operations (or willingness to learn).
